The stone
Pale blush to deeper rose.
Rose quartz is a variety of quartz tinted pink by traces of titanium, iron or manganese, and it ranges from translucent to transparent. It forms as molten rock cools slowly deep in the earth's crust, its crystals growing and interlocking over millions of years.

Brazil, South Africa, Madagascar, India, the United States (South Dakota and Maine), Namibia, Mozambique, Sri Lanka, Uruguay and Germany
The Stone of Love.
Rose quartz is known as the crystal of love, compassion and forgiveness. Ancient shamans and healers are said to have used it to purify the heart, deepen self-love and attract love, and Greek mythology ties it to Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty. It is still used in rituals and ceremonies to invoke love, harmony and peace.
