Your gua sha routine, step by step.
Prep your skin
Cleanse, then smooth on a few drops of facial oil or serum so the stone glides easily.
Hold it flat
Rest the stone almost flat against your skin, at about a 15-degree angle, and use the curved sides to contour.
Neck, jaw and chin
Glide up from the base of your neck to the jawline, then run the notch along your jaw from the chin out toward each ear.
Cheeks and under the eyes
Sweep the flat edge from beside your nose out toward your ears. Under the eyes, use the smaller curve with light pressure, from the inner corner out to the temple.
Brows and forehead
Glide outward along the brow bone, then stroke upward from your brows to your hairline.
Repeat each stroke
Five to ten passes per area.
Gentle strokes, little and often.
Glide lightly; there is no need to press hard.
Use it two or three times a week, or make it part of your daily routine.
After each use, wash it in warm water with a gentle soap and dry it thoroughly.
Store it clean and somewhere safe so it cannot chip or break.
Rose quartz
The stone of love.
In crystal tradition, rose quartz is the stone of unconditional love, said to encourage self-love, compassion and inner peace.
It is also believed to soothe emotional wounds, invite forgiveness and calm anxious moments, bringing a little positive energy to every glide.
Crystals have been prized for centuries for their beauty and believed metaphysical properties; Spirit Magicka makes no guarantee of any mystical or healing effect.
