From deep in the earth
Every sphere wears its own grain.
Red granite is an igneous rock made mostly of quartz, feldspar and mica. It forms deep within the Earth’s crust as magma or lava slowly cools and hardens, and its red color usually comes from iron oxide minerals such as hematite or magnetite.
Its coarse-grained texture and durability have long made it a favorite for building and decoration. The pattern of every sphere is its own.
A stone of strength, grounding and vitality.
In crystal tradition, red granite is believed to enhance vitality, courage and inner strength, giving a boost of energy and motivation to pursue goals and overcome challenges. It is thought to stir passion and creativity, igniting the fire within, and is said to promote grounding and stability, a strong connection with the Earth’s energy and a sense of balance and security.
It is associated with the root chakra, supporting feelings of stability, vitality and a deep connection to the physical world. Sometimes called the stabilizing stone, the grounding crystal and the energizing stone, it is also thought to be a stone of protection, love and commitment. A sphere’s symmetrical shape is believed to send a high, positive energy out equally in every direction.
Legend holds that ancient civilizations saw red granite as imbued with the fiery energy of the sun, bestowing courage and strength. Shamans and spiritual practitioners treated it as a sacred stone in their rituals, drawing on the Earth’s elemental forces, and stories say it wards off evil spirits and brings good fortune.
Crystals have been prized for centuries for their beauty and believed metaphysical properties; Spirit Magicka makes no guarantee of any mystical or healing effect.
