The stone

Aqua and green, laced with light.

Amazonite is a blue-green feldspar called microcline, and a trace of lead inside the stone gives it that soft aqua color. Polished into a sphere, its pale veins and glints wrap all the way around, so it looks lovely from every side of a desk, altar or shelf.

It is found in Brazil, Canada, the United States, Austria, India, Russia, Mozambique and Namibia.
